Membership

SACCOS and their District Unions, which follow the International Credit Union Operating Principles & Values and are registered under the Co-operative Act as single purpose Savings and Credit Co-operatives, are eligible for membership in NEFSCUN. Members must also comply with NEFSCUN's membership regulations. As of Oct 15, 2009 NEFSCUN represents more than 350,000 individual members from 639 affiliated SACCOS, 31 District Unions encompassing 57 districts in 14 zones. It strives to increase its awareness and membership every year.
